Atmosphere
The wave can be fast, super hollow, and long. It's a fun wave and one of the best in Oregon, the locals are pretty chill.

Unpredictable - Figure, if I'm gonna check Aggie, might as well check southbeach. Sometimes it works, hit it good before, if no wind. Echo that, never heard it called "The Box", supwidat? Was out there once with like 10 other dudes who was hoggin the best peak on LBs. All the sudden they split, me and another bro get some fun rides while my other bro is on the beach doing some wacky dance. When we come in he says, "all those dudes left cuz a whitey the size of bus was cruizin around. Didn't you see me waving my arms?" Guess he wasn't hungry...
Whatevs, check it if you wanna. Big enough beach break to hold a couple dozen guys, but still annoying when that happens.

"the Box?" - The Box? who is coming up with these names? Ive surfed this spot many times never heard it called the box, anyways this is just another of so many of oregons beachbreaks. There is nothing special about it except for the fisherman chumming the waters inside the jetty. I wouldnt say 3 stars, it wouldnt even give it two. Like I said it is just a stretch of sand with short mellow beach break waves and an earyness in the water. A kid was bit here a few years ago. Enjoy kooks
