Access

Sand Point has an challenging left point that is amazing if you can catch it with the right conditions. Not a day trip spot as it's a three mile hike through some amazing old growth rain forest via a wooden walkway from Lake Ozette. Camping is the way to go. I have never seen another surfer there except those that have been there with me.

This is bear country and cougars sometimes prowl the beach. The racoons can be bothersome as well. Make sure you bring a first aid kit as it will take a while to get assistance if needed.
