Wait till the ferry is 5mins out and paddle out wait for the second wave and ride it in. You will get three good waves and then wait till the ferry comes back to port 15min later.
Atmosphere
Bring your longboard and have fun sit deeper for the longer ride. This spot is not a joke you will be riding the ferry wake till shore any day of the week.
General
Dont sit by the dock go 2-3 houses down. If the is more the two people out go futher down the beach. Dont go past the 6th house the wave is to small to ride.

HOAX - This place is a total hoax. If you are living in Vancouver, and thinking about driving the 3 hours it takes to get here, think again. The waves from that ferry are about 1 foot high and this so called "break" breaks about every 20 minutes, and 10 feet offshore. Don't waste your time

stop wasting gas - hey I thought surfers cared about the enviroment..This is a major drive from anywhere. You would have to come 100 times to catch it worth it once. and even then other regoinal spots would be all time on that day.

Nope, surfers don't care about the enviroment... - ... but they do care about the enviroNment. Think faster, hippy! More than the environment surfers care about quality surf, and that's what you'll find at Clinton Landing more days than not. Just make sure you go there on an incoming tide and make sure a big southerly isn't blowing 'cos if it is it'll be like a washing machine. Otherwise you will score. Hook it up Washington!
