48 19' Degrees North 122 50' Degrees West
9 miles north of Quimper Peninsula, 6 miles west of Whidbey Island.

I would go to Anacortes or Bellingham and launch your boat there, the island is located off the southern tip of Lopez island, maybe 10 miles. Straight west from Whidby island.

Atmosphere

I would say this would be a cool place to check out, def gets swell as lots of places in the sound and straits go off, it's uninhabited, the only thing on the little island is a coast guard light and weather station.

- drove by here in a boat the other day on a nice NW 5 ft 10 sec. and there is indeed a nice little left in the NW corner of the island. go for it if ya got a boat but its not legal.

Indeed, the lineup is often empty here. - I am quite sure of this fact. There is a good chance you will have this place to itself when it breaks. The odds are high.

- OK, look at the charts and see what the depth is around there, if it just sticks up out of deep water it probably won't break ever. Add the fact that it has about the narrowest freaking swell window in the world. It's probably also covered is super stinky bird shit and grumpy sea lions. Sounds like a serious long shot to me. Probably your best bet is to go out under cover of darkness in an inflatable and try to score at first light before you get in trouble. If my experience trying to catch knee-high peelers on Whidby is any indication, you're better off driving to the ocean.
