This spot can get epic but also gets crowded when epic.
Atmosphere
Lots of tale turning rednecks but this spot is one of the best spots on the east coast and can get world-class on the right swell.

slippery when wet and having fun - I've been surfing for six years, now, and i have yet to loose the true rhythem of surfing. Everyone complains about the crowds and the drop-in's but when I was beginning I remember engulfing myself in the old Bruce Brown movies in which many surfers on a wave was a welcoming addition to your fun. I surf a 5'8 green fish, 6'2, 6'4 orange gliders, and a 9'2 blue longboard. I'll be at Spanish House for the next two weeks, so if you come across me in the water and your having a bad day you can always drop-in on me. God grants us all waves, eventually, so lets enjoy the time in between them together.

Good wave - I like to pee on the bushes and on the ground along the trail for all the kooks to walk thru.
