Locals? - I moved from Jensen 8 years ago I was a local there for over 20 years & I don't recognize the name Mike Hoop. Only the true old skool locals would remember where Turtle beach was in Jensen. Glad to hear the beach is back It started to suck when they built the concession stands & boardwalks went downhill from there. I used to surf north jetty south to the rocks regularly. Blind creek was my favorite after Turtle beach went away.

Thieves! - Watch out for theives, the bastards busted two of my windows and stole backpacks from the back of my car. I wouldn't suggest parking in the Northern lot, it is more hidden from everything.

1998 - was the last time this place had some form,at the peak directly in front of north jensen.the one thing you gotta remember is that almost every single peak here ends in a closeout. Now you see a crowd of people
by the lifeguard stand. most days you go here
u will see a lot of hot girls,a lot of undrage drinking and hordes of old canadian tourists.all this makes for a very relaxed vibe in the water.
