Additional Information
Long shore current can be terrible if swells are from the north east. Be prepared to end up in miami if your not in good enough shape to paddle out and stay in the lantana beach area.
Atmosphere
My favorite place to surf. I grew up and learned to surf hear. Crowd is nice as long as you bring your respect. Watch out for sharp rocks when entering water. If the waves are flat then bring some snorkling gear..
if you plan on surfin here learn how to swim, and bring a skimboard for when you get tired.
General
when this place goes off its epic, but then again theres reef road.

- L.A. is a good spot to start surfing, you will usually find experienced to beginners at this break, just keep the respect out in the water and you should have no problems

lifesavers - yea thats right. its usually a nice little spot. but when the surf is "surfable" but not THAT good them lifeguards get a lil happy with the loud speaker. lol so if the surf is so so ur better going to the south a little bit and u should be fine.
