Its a bit scary to get there. The spot is on a rock, located on the edge of a military base, right in world-known Copacabana Beach. And if you're tired and wanna climb on the rocks to have a little rest, you can get caught by the guards and taken into the base, like happened with me once, and maybe lose your board. You can get to the spot swimming from the Copacabana Beach or from the Diabo (Devil) Beach, depending on the current direction cause "Shorey" is in the middle of those two beaches. If you decide to go through Copacabana early in the morning, the fishermen can give you a lift in their boat, you just have to ask. Today I saw a penguin there, very odd for such a hot city, anyway...

Additional Information
"Expresso Escorpiao" is just a nick name known by few people, wich means "Scorpion Express". Maybe you should say that this is a dangerous bodyboarding spot, and its even dangerous for surfers. I know only one surfer who rides there, and he is definitely nuts!

"Shorey" has been called 'the most dangerous spot in Brazil'?!?!? If this is true, respect for those who surfed it in the huge days, like today. I went there today with a friend and the spot was empty, with 5-8 feet insane heavy barrels. We compared it to Teahupoo, but to the opposite direction.
