An outstanding left point that is tucked away and requires more swell than other spots in the region. Long perfect tubes when on. Crowded on weekends...camping only, no facilities whatsoever and private access. Must obtain permission from the hacienda owners.
Atmosphere
Pristine and beautiful...keep it clean. Threatened by development.

warning - puerte is a very cool place to go in the large weekends, is near to santiago and the road have good signs, isn´t easy to lose. Like the other guys say, you have to ask permission to get entry to the farmland, DON`T FORGET THAT, if you get there and you don`t have permission YOU CANNOT ENTER and you must look another beach, this not so god, so don´t forget that important tip. The wave is a long left and have toobs that will rock your world, if you surf a medium large wave there you will don´t forget for the rest of your lives. The bad thing is in the sumer, the swells goes down and the waves are not so god....and the people neither....I dont recomend you go in this date, the RENAQUINOS are there and they nor are friendship people, mens called DUENDE broke my shopcamp when I was there, and the incredible thing, i was surfing in reñaca once and they have de localism spirit so deeply that they want fight with me, like hawaiian's surfers, well, they are a really huge ass holes....is the bad thing of this place, in my experience

Puertecillo - El permiso lo dan en santiago en el centro..
tambien puedes baja por el cuchillo y no necesitas permiso solo 4 x4 con low.

beatiful beach - very calm place, with strong and big waves, im only a beginner and for the moment i only take there some good pagadas. pleace, take care of the beach!
