It's better to surf it in winter in good swells, you park your car in the sand on Triangulo wich is called Playa Dulce, get into the ocean and go right of triangulo and you're going to see the wave if it is breaking.

ala moana - cool wierd wave surfed it in the day of the quicksilver pro herradura with nobody out. everyone was at triangle and it was great a tubular wave which is really sectiony would reccomend it for everyone great wave. due to the jetty they have build there is a strong backwash which can send you flying. the only drag is getting to the point as there are few channels and it is reasonably far out. nobody surfs it dosent seem a costa verde type wave.
