Punta del Este is more Known but the best waves of uruguay are in Rocha state.
Only in La Paloma you have like 6 beach breaks, 5 point breaks and a few of secret spots, the surfing in uruguay is still in development.
Atmosphere
The atmosphere is cool, not very crowded, excellent beach brake, a very fast but hndled wave .
Lot of times, get classic,and tubular, the sharks are not common

Is a great spot to visit, specially in summertime.

la aguada - -la aguada now, is not as good as 15 years ago..yes the wave is very clean and consistent, but not as hollow and long as yesteryearspalomero is right, only 70 mts or less rides, but perfect ones.those 3 pict are all taked in average days, not medium days like is writed in one...
