Easy to get to from Highway 200 (Pacific Coast Highway). About 40 km north of Lazaro Cardenas. Cross bridge reading "Playa Las Peñas." After first speed bump, make right at the grocery store (the one intersection in town) and follow the short road down to the parking area to the beach.

Additional Information
Best in the rainy season (May-Sept). There are a few young kids that surf it but that's about it. The people in town are extremely cool. There are a bunch of good seafood restaurants right on the beach.
Parking is easy and safe.
The waves are best in the mid-late afternoon but the spot can change every few minutes with the winds, with lefts AND rights.
