Half hour drive from Saint John. Go past the airport about five minutes and take a right on the road that says marine Drive. Follow this road about 10 to 15 minutes. there is a rocky beach about 100 yards before the deer farm. Right and left break. The left gets good when there is a decent swell. Watch for rocks on the right side of the beach. Cold water year round.
Atmosphere
Direction is very important here. Waves only occur during south or wind swells. There is basically never surf in the summer.
I'm not promoting this place to travelling surfers looking for good waves but to people who are geographically restricted to this area.If you have to move to, or live in N.B. YOU CAN STILL SURF!

??? - hey been back in SJ for about a month, and am seeing quite a few cars around town with surfboards strapped on..... does anyone communicate and go out together, or go searching for waves up the coast

no SJ surfers - No one surfs in SJ!!! and that eastcoastsurfer.ca website sucks..... didnt help me find any spots or anyone in NB that surfs..... although it can be done, as Ive done it.
