- Sharks
Typical beach break, that will close out on larger swells. Because of location, doesn't break all that often, but after a Nor' Easter or Hurricane will sure to be working.
Atmosphere
Very nice, scenic, beautiful, miles long sandy beach. From late June to late September has a very tropical feel to it. Water temps in the fall will easily reach low-mid twenties C.
General
Fun spot to hang out or learn to surf, if the swells not firing too much. Anything huge 6 ft + will mke for a tough paddle and a wave that jacks up quick.

Weird stuff - Found two "half" carcasses of Seals on the South Beach the other day. Had bite marks in them like you see in cookie commercials. Been around these waters since I was a toddler and I've never seen anything like it.

Ingonish - Mark, or anyone else who is interested in surfing in Ingonish between October 4th - 11th. Email me your contact info and I'll give you a shout when I get home that week. Also, can anyone tell me how to find out what the conditions are before I go, without the use of internet, and what kind of winds I should be looking for? Reason I ask is I'm staying about 2 hours away from Ingonish.

- I'm heading to the Cape again in the coming months. Looking forward to touring the island and proving my theory correct...When was growing up, I missed thousands of waves all over the island. Looking for someone to hook me up with a surf board rental, and possibly a surfing buddy. Any takers?
