The closest surf spot to Halifax (right near downtown!) this wave breaks in point pleasant beach park, just go to the south end of the city and get to the parking lot, the wave breaks off the old military bunkers. It's a great spot to learn on and can handle some serious size. DistanceIn the city WalkInstant access (< 5min) Easy to find?Easy to find Public access?Public access Special accessDon't know |

watch out for the few city chargers that surf this place regularly. Make sure you shower afterwards.
Atmosphere
even if the waves arent breaking, it's a great place to pick up the chicks, plus never gets foggy like lawrencetown. I recommend it highly just for its proximity to town.
