Your kidding... - China beach has a local crew? The only time this place is worth surfing is when it is closed out at Sombrio. I skimmed there regularly and surfed when it was big enough in the 80's and 90's and I can honestly say I never saw another surfer once.

Knife? - I heard it wasn't a knife. I heard some Renfrew guy busted out a shotgun on some kook who snaked him. Really heavy vibe here, stay on your toes.

Photo 1 - I am calling BS on photo 1. No visible 5 mil wetsuit (and hood) the guy is in surf shorts!! you may say that it is summer but we all know just how much swell tracks 50 km down Juan de Fuca in the middle of summer.
