Not likely - Witty's would only work on windswell, like many of the other beaches this far in. It will lack power. I have never heard of ocean swell actually being big enough to effectively make it around East Sooke Park.

curious - It's very possible that Witty's gets waves. I am willing to believe it. My question is how big does the swell have to be outside of the strait for this baby to break?? She's pretty far in, I bet it would take a monster swell for Witty's to even start working. I would deffinitly want to try it if it ever had any size to it. I am seriously curious about this and some other spots which will remain nameless.

thank you - All right brother. Thanks for answering my question. I will look elsewhere for a hidden gem. Windswell's not for me, especially not after several years on the East Coast. I want some juice, the skim boarders can keep it.
