Go to Wrightsville Beach NC turn on to Lumina Dr. and take Columbia St. a few spots to park, but you pretty much have to search or know someone during the summer.

Its not rocks on the bottom, but there are several old pilings that are visible at low tide.
Keep an eye on the outside and charge!!!!
Some of the best surfers on the East Coast
It's a very rippable wave. The sunset in the evening rules!!

too crowded - barely worth surfing anymore, from the wannabe college transplants to the supergrom packs the place has such a crowd factor that i gave up surfing center island wrightsville pretty much for good

- Moving to Wrightsville from Ocean City NJ. This web site is not accurate. It had spots around here pushing overhead at any given day which isn't the case. Locals around here aren't bad, it's just those damn shoobies that drop in on you and get clowned the rest of there so called "session".Anyway be there in August praying surf down there is better than here. Can't wait to have the locals staring hard at me wondering who the kid is at their spot. I'm chill, so no fighting. "NeVerPoSe"
