Watch out for the South End crew, most of the time their drunk , stoned or looking to give somebody a good ol' Southern hospitality ass whoopin, If they know you you are straight, If you are from out of town, they will know WATCH OUT! The wave is fickle and doesnt offer power unless it is a well organized hurricane
Atmosphere
Clean water, lots of idiot longboarders, sharky around the pier and jettys, Tourists, and in the summer time, lots of hot UNCW girls frolickinh in the shorebreak

Don't stress a beat down around here. - Dude nobody is handing out beatdowns anywhere near this place. Yea there are people who rent property down here but 99.95% are not 'from' WB. 85% are not from ILM. Same as anywhere, the people trying to rep the hardest or claim the most are insecure.

Chill spot overall - This is a chill spot that I have surfed for years. Yeah a lot of the people who are more experienced can be dicks but they're not ready to fight. Just follow the rules but don't lay down for anybody and you'll have a great session. This spot can be sick!
