palmas not great - ok i dont know who gave palmas 3 stars...EVEN WORSE called it a regional classic ....HAHAHA...that is ridiculous. EXPERIENCED SURFERS???? another silly comment. i would say palmas is great for kids to learn how to surf. palmas breaks from 10 to 20 meters from shore...waves are small and of very short duration...sandy bottom. super safe...pool like at times. if you get lucky you might get 1 or 2 tiny tubes. pictures shown here are accurate though.

Another sloppy beachbreak - This beach sucks. It seriously gets good one or two times max in the whole summer. In winter the sand is carried away and it gets really messy. On the summer afternoons, be ready to fight for a wave with 50 dogs. Fighting for a crappy wave seems kind of stupid, however you go there in summer, and that's what you will see. Dogs, dogs, and more dogs, everywhere they will be paddling like maddogs to ride a sloppy blown-out, choppy and non-barreling wave. From my professional perspective, this break sucks, and is not recommendable
